PROGRAM DIRECTOR – Supported SRO in North Bronx 
 
Description: Expanding Mental Health agency is seeking a Program Director for a newly constructed 56 Unit Supported SRO in the North Bronx, scheduled to open in the Fall of 2010.  The project will house formerly homeless single adults and low income community residents.
The Program Director will be responsible for program and facility management.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to clinical and administrative duties.  Clinical duties include admissions, staff supervision and training. Facility management responsibilities include collaborating with public and private funding entities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
 
Schedule: Office Hours: Monday - Friday;  9AM to 5PM.

Qualifications
:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field required; LMSW preferred.

Salary
:
Low to Mid 60's, based on qualifications and experience.


VISITING COUNSELOR – Scatter-site Apartment Treatment Program in NE Bronx

Description: Provide supported case management and supportive services to adult SPMI residents of scatter-site program. Candidates must be able to assist residents with activities of daily living and general apartment maintenance, and must be able to access areas above first floor of work site and apartment buildings.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday; 10:30 am - 6:30 pm. 
                 Tuesdays & Fridays; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Qualifications: BA Degree in Social Work or related human services field is required. Experience working with adult mentally disabled population is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills a must; Bilingual/Spanish a plus.

Salary: $33,500 annually plus benefits


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / LIMITATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS
 
Candidates for all positions must be able to access areas above first floor in program/office facilities. Candidates for all direct care positions must be able to take public transportation and/or walk to apartments, climb stairs in apartment buildings, and demonstrate proper cleaning and apartment maintenance methods to residents in addressing their activities of daily living.
