Places to Call Home

To date, we’ve helped put more than one thousand people on the path toward independence in our nearly 30 year history. And we do it by offering safe, stable places to call home and a successful combination of reliable, dignified, hands-on supportive services.

Before coming to live with us, our residents apply for housing, undergo a screening process according to the New York City Human Resources Administration standards, and in-depth interviews.  We find that with the help of Geel^s counseling, work readiness training and other supportive services, our residents greatly enhance their coping skills and can participate in normal community activities.
